“Libraries as Catalysts for Transformation: Resilient Nations for a Better World” | ||
International Conference on Library & Information Science (ICLIS)-2023 will be held on 27th June 2023. This international conference intends to serve as a platform for international and especially Sri Lankan library professionals from various library sectors to meet, share and discuss the innovations, good practices, trends, and issues in their libraries. This year’s theme allows LIS professionals and researchers to think about how libraries can act as catalysts for transformation, especially in developing prosperous nations for a better world. The proposed theme intends to explore strategies on how libraries can provide innovative services, equitable access to information, and developing collections amidst various types of challenges such as pandemics, economic, financial, and disasters to create sustainable societies and prosperous nations for a better world. Contributors Library Professionals, LIS Faculty, Library Scientists, Documentation officers, Archivists, Academicians, LIS Research Scholars, and Students are encouraged to contribute by submission of research papers. Authors can consider the subtopics categorized under the main theme of the conference. The original, unpublished, quality abstracts will be published in the proceedings, after a peer review process, and the author/s will be invited for presentation. |
